Dan Neal and the Town of Walkersville designed and planted 18 Mach V baskets on the original layout in September of 2006. 18 asphalt tees. There were almost no trees on holes 12 through 17.
March of 2010, hole 3 basket was moved away from the fence because of complaints about going out of bounds and into the farmer’s field. New basket extremely short and not challenging, leading to a series of changes.
Disc Golf Professor presents to Walkersville Rec council in April of 2010 – hole 3 basket moved to grove of trees near hole 4 tee, new practice basket by hole 1, trees to be planted in the field on the back nine, and new tee pads for each hole, with a red and blue layout. All changes approved.
Meetings with disc golf community happen in the spring, and result in new tee pads for each hole, with a red and blue layout. Pads installed by Town of Walkersville May and June 2010. New practice basket donated by WHS Disc Golf club installed near first tee May 2010. Hole 20, to be played from red tee pad #9 (blue 20) and red tee pad #8 (red 20) to the practice basket brings golfers back to first tee. Hole 8/19 basket moved closer to the hill, away from more swampy ground May 2010. Hole 3 basket moved to grove of trees just past walking path.

Professor plants trees that line fairways of holes 10, 12, 16 and 18 (with generous help from disc golf community, especially EB and WN) October 2011.
